House for Five People

Porto, Portugal, 2002


Although in the city centre, this house stands in a rural environment, between narrow walls and vegetation. The project straight lines contrast with the natural landscape obtaining an expressive and functional solution.
Assuming an “L” typology, two volumes at different levels divide the common from the private spaces. From their intersection and internal conexion results the main entrance, by the preexisting rocks at the lowest level.
